Review of Tommee Tippee Nappy Disposal System

IMG_0732Brief Start/First Impressions

I do realise this post is a little random, however I’m so impressed I just glad to share my views. There are a few things that you suddenly find yourself talking about when you become a parent and toilet habits are one of them! Nappies; not the most glamorous of topics, but the subject of changing our little ones bum’s is one that often comes up in our household and I expect others too! Like all parents of small children, there’s lot of nappies! Wherever nappies are, germs and a less than pleasant odour are sure to follow.  At the time of choosing what we would use I just went with what was the cheapest and on offer at the time. The Tommee Tippee Sangenic Nappy Disposal System. Little did I know how useful this item would be.

Features and Our Thoughts

The system was so easy to set up, the refill cassette just pops in the top and your ready to use.  To use push the nappy down under the teeth, then twist the top 360 degrees and the nappy will be sealed. The tub holds a good amount of nappies which means it doesn’t need changing every day and thankfully the smell is kept at bay. It is really simple to empty and change the cassette.  Tommee Tippee state that the “antibacterial film kills 99% of germs on contact and offers unbeatable odour protection”.  That it is “100 times more effective at odour protection than nappy sacks.” The disposal system can be purchased in either white, pink or blue so easily and discreetly fits into any room.

I still feel a bit uneasy with ‘dirty’ nappies being left in the house for any length of time, but this is no reflection on the product at all.  It is a fabulous product that we will continue to use.  This product exceeded my expectations.  It is something that I didn’t think we needed, but I am surprised by the efficiency that it provides.  I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others.
